Live chat for travel and tourism companies
Travellers plan at all hours, often from another country. Help them with widget languages, translation and an AI bot for when your team is asleep.
Travel questions come from everywhere
Your customers are spread across time zones, and a holiday is a big decision.
- Enquiries arrive overnight, from countries in different time zones.
- Not everybody is comfortable asking detailed questions in English.
- Travellers already away may only have access to a messaging app.
- Seasonal peaks bring more questions than the team can handle.

How Orbis Chat helps travel businesses
Cover the hours and languages your team alone cannot.
Multi-language widget
Widget text is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish.
Message translation
Agents can translate a customer's messages.
AI bot
Answer common questions overnight from your knowledge base, then hand over to a person. See after-hours cover.
Messaging channels
Connect WhatsApp Business, Messenger, Telegram or SMS, using your own accounts. See all channels.
Visitor country
The live visitor list shows country, device and referrer, so you have some context.

Worked example: an overseas enquiry
A visitor from France looks at a walking holiday in the Lake District.
The bot answers overnight
It answers a question about what is included, from the knowledge base.
A human takes over
They ask something more specific, and the conversation waits for the team in the inbox.
The agent translates
In the morning, the agent translates the French message and replies.
The enquiry is tracked
The agent adds a deal for the holiday and a task to follow up.
This is an illustration of how the features fit together, not a real customer story.
